Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Disability Affairs is inviting applications from students of classes IX, X, XI, XII and Bachelors degree for National Overseas Scholarship for Students with disabilities effective from 1st April, 2014 for the year 2014-2015 to provide financial aid to pursue Masters degree and Ph. D courses abroad in Engineering , Management and Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences, Agricultural Science, Medicine, Commerce, Accounting and Finance, Humanities, Social, Fine Arts.
Total No. of Scholarship in a Year: 20 - (06) will be reserved for women candidates.
Eligibility:
Candidates with disabilities applying for scholarship should be 35 years of age with 55% marks and above in Bachelor's and Master's Degree with annual income of Rs. 6 Lakhs are eligible to apply.
This scholarship is for Indian students with disablilties.
Required documents are candidates photograph, proof of age, disability certificate, income certificate of parent.
Annual Maintenance Allowance:
Courses in United States of America and other Countries is in US $ 15,400/-
Courses in United Kingdom Great Britain Pound 9,900/- is prescribed.
Candidates eligible and interested submit applications in prescribed proforma within one month from date of this notification.
