The Universal Account Number Member Portal will be launched on 16th October, 2014 which will enable the EPFO members or subscribers to access their PF accounts online through UAN portal.

Universal Account Number of EPFO will be generated for every member contributing PF during the period 1st Jan, 2014 to 30th June, 2014.

The purpose of UAN is to link multiple Member Id allotted to a single member under single UAN.

Members can view the details online of their personal data updated, Download and Print UAN Card, File and View Transfer claim, Update KYC and Download and Print passbook.

If the UAN is allotted to the member and he is changing job from one company  to the other he can provide the same UAN to the employer who will mark the new allotted Member Id to the already existing allotted UAN.

Employer will provide UAN along with Member Id and Mobile Number is required to activate registration.

Enter your Universal Account Number (UAN): Enter 12 digit number provided by employer

Enter your Mobile Number: 9999999999

Enter your Member ID: xxxxx-xxx-xxxx

Select the State and Office: Here you enter PF State and office location

Type the characters provided in the box: xxxxxx

Hit on Get PIN

You will receive PIN on your registered Mobile Number that you will enter below

Enter Authorization PIN and Hit Submit

You will get the message as 'UAN has been registered successfully, login detail sent to your mobile number and e-mail verification link you will receive to your registered e-mail address and confirm the same.

Now you can login successfully with your UAN and Password.
