UIDAI has launched Aadhaar on Wheels mobile van in Hyderabad
through which senior citizens can get Aadhaar Card at home. Aadhaar on wheels has been introduced to provide Aadhaar
services to senior citizens having difficulty in visiting the enrollment
centers due to medical conditions, for availing services for enrollment and
updating.
Aadhaar on Wheels will be operated by CSC e-Governance Services India
Limited. Within the GHMC limits four vans will run to provide exclusive service
to senior residents having difficulty in mobility due to health conditions. Good
initiative from the Centre to reach out to senior citizens living in metro
cities of Hyderabad in Telangana.
Senior citizens in Hyderabad, Telangana can avail Aadhaar on
Wheels service for enrolment of Aadhaar at doorstep by sending email to roh.help@uidai.net.in or by dialing
040-23119266.
The request will be
maintained in database and covered in a phased manner, area wise and the dates.
The residents will be keep informed of when Aadhaar on Wheels
will be coming to their location.
